Team Lead Engineer

What will you do?

The Lead Backend Developer will be in charge of the following:

• You should be able to maintain and improve the existing codebase, while also being able to adopt and adapt to new technologies, tools, and methodologies as needed for the development of the new platform. This requires creativity, adaptability, and a willingness to learn and experiment with new approaches to software development.
• Designing and developing complex software systems and applications that meet the requirements of the business and customers.
• Providing technical leadership and mentoring to other members of the software development team.
• Collaborating with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to identify technical requirements and ensure that they are met.
• Taking ownership of projects and driving them to completion, while working with cross-functional teams.
• Identifying and resolving technical issues and bugs, and ensuring the quality of the software product.
• Strong understanding of software testing and quality assurance, and being able to identify and resolve technical issues and bugs to ensure that the software product is of high quality.

 

Minimum requirements

 

What are we looking for?

Stack:

• You have experience 5+ years in PHP (7.4 / 8.2)
• Zend Framework (PHP 7.4)
• Python and Ruby would be a plus.
• Infrastructure experience as code in AWS.
• JavaScript, jQuery, React are a plus.
• DDD and hexagonal architectures are a plus.
• Jira, Confluence

Soft Skills:

• Experience in managing and leading teams, ensuring compliance with guidelines, best practices and architecture.
• Strong communication skills to be able to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Identify and solve complex technical problems, as well as anticipate potential issues and proactively take steps to mitigate them.
• Be able to think creatively and innovatively to design and develop solutions that meet the requirements of the business and customers.
• Manage their time effectively to meet project deadlines, prioritize tasks, and balance competing demands on their time.
• Adaptable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment, with changing requirements, technologies, and priorities.
• Collaborate effectively with other team members, contribute to a positive team culture, and build strong working relationships.
• Fluency in English, other languages will beconsidered favorably.
