About The Role:

  • Your role will cover the full sales cycle, winning over prospects, booking and setting your own appointments and nurturing prospects once they become paying clients.
  • The Business Development Manager role is one for a dedicated employee, as you’ll develop a territory business plan, possessing the drive to build a fruitful and high-value pipeline.
  • Designing persuasive approaches and proposals to convert potential clients into business customers.
  • Using your collaborative nature to its full potential by interfacing with the company’s Technical Surveyors & Estimators to develop Technical Reports & Quotations.
  • You must build genuine, meaningful and long-lasting relationships with your clients to extend the customer journey for as long as possible.
  • You’re expected to hit targets in the millions, so utilising your creative thinking and outside-the-box approach is crucial to your success.
  • You’ll work on projects that may take 3-4 years to complete, so a consultative approach to business is essential.

You Will Need To Have/Be:

  • A minimum of 5 years in a Sales Construction background.
  • OR have a degree in Engineering or Building Surveying plus two years of experience as a high-performing graduate.
  • Experience of 2 Stage Tenders within the Construction field is essential.
  • Proof of hitting big financial targets in construction.
  • A minimum of 6 months experience working the full sales cycle.
  • Hungry and eager to progress your career.
  • Articulate and presentable.
