As a Recruitment Consultant, you’ll find top talent in several roles, including (but not limited to) Gastrologists, Dermatologists, Cardiologists, Radiologists and Urologists. You’ll work with a range of NHS practices and private medical centres to uncover the best talent on the market.

About The Role:

  • When you first start this role, you’ll work as a 360 recruiter. This involves finding and closing your own deals and working with both clients and candidates to find perfect pairings.
  • Once you’ve found your feet and experienced 12-18 months of continuous success, you’ll transition to a client-facing consultant, working with existing clients to seek new opportunities to place quality candidates.
  • This transition will involve you leading a team of candidate-facing consultants, ensuring they continue to deliver a quality service.
  • Because Doctors and Medical Practitioners work outside of the traditional 9-5 hours,  you’ll work with clients and candidates at all hours – so you must be prepared to work flexible hours!
  • You’ll use a variety of recruitment tools, as well as your headhunting ability to source and attract candidates to add to your talent pool.
  • Outside of your regular client base, you’ll also have the opportunity to work warm leads of existing contracts from other medical fields.

You Will Need To Have/Be:

  • A minimum of 2 years of recruitment success within the healthcare industry.
  • Contract recruitment experience is beneficial but not required.
  • Experience in dealing with Doctors, Consultants and Medical Professionals is critical to your success in this role.
  • Motivated and driven – this role is perfect for somebody who’s hungry to progress.
  • Experience in closing your own deals and generating revenue with your work – this is a 360 recruitment role!
