Boulo Solutions has partnered with a wonderful non profit in Birmingham, AL that is looking to hire a Part-Time Data Manager to join their team. Employment Type: Part time 20-30 hours (more hours in Aug/Sept and April/May)
Flexibility: Culture, Hybrid (3 days need to be in office, but school hours 4-5 days a week is good to). 
Pay: $25/hour
Benefits: 1 week paid time off for BHM city schools (BCS) spring break, 2 weeks off for Christmas break aligned with BSC, 10 paid holidays aligned with BCS calendar, 

Position Objective:
The Data Manager is responsible for collecting, managing, finalizing and reporting data from the non profit's programs/projects throughout the school year. In addition, they are responsible for managing resources related to employees (Human Resources), onboarding and maintaining confidentiality with regard to company records and reports. (20 hours of Data, 5-10 hours of HR duties) 

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree required
• Master’s degree preferred
• Capable of managing large volumes of data throughout the year 
• Outstanding analytical thinking skills
• Experience in Google Workspace and strong G-sheets and Excel skills (mastery of pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement technical and business-oriented process improvements
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to correctly perform mathematical calculations
• Ability to prepare reports and analyze data in a timely manner

Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with program and other staff members to create appropriate data sheets to guarantee robust reporting
• Consistently meets with other team members and program/project managers to collect and analyze data
• Trains non profits teachers, volunteers, and staff on accessing data and attendance sheets and inputting information
• Assists teachers and volunteers with troubleshooting difficulties with technology related to attendance
• Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of data
• Translate figures into palatable metrics
• Serves as the point person for locating, reporting, and extrapolating data for program managers, grant writer(s), development director, stakeholders, and for audit purposes
• Maintains the inventory of data on the organization’s servers and designated platforms
• Generates graphics from data
• Input data for the United Way report and grant allocation once per year
• Follows Office Procedures
• Organizes and maintains personnel files
• Processes New Hire, Rehire, and Terminated employees according to checklists
• Maintains employee Job Descriptions, Exemption Worksheets and Classifications
• Maintains staff directory
• Maintains and updates employee records in database
• Maintains and manages all background checks on employees
• Processes Social Security, W-4, A4, I-9, and Drivers’ Licenses/ID for employee verification
• Prepares customized attendance/timesheets for each pay period
• Updates and maintains HR forms as needed
• Performs HR Orientation for employees
