Global Equity Analyst | Chicago
$85-110k depending on experience + 0-75% bonus
Multi-billion-dollar institutional investment management firm seeks Analyst with equity research experience. Must be passionate about growth investing and international equities.
Responsibilities:
Research/evaluate new investment ideas which meet investment objectives/portfolio requirements
Analyze markets/competitive positioning/industry publications/data releases/regulatory events/earnings reports/published research and technical factors
Recommend stocks to purchase within assigned areas
Conduct research on existing holdings to determine continued fit with investment objectives; recommend changes in holdings as needed
Assess fundamental/technical trends to generate appropriate investment ideas; contribute to asset allocation decisions
Monitor/interpret major ESG-related company developments/best practices/themes/trends affecting companies, sectors and industries
Requirements:
2-5 years of equity research experience (buy-side and global equities exposure preferred); Bachelor's degree; relevant internship and/or participation in college investment program
Familiarity with Factset or Bloomberg
Demonstrated interest in investment management/international markets; passion for growth investing; interest in pursuing career in equity research; strong accounting/finance skills; ability to communicate ideas; strong presentation skills; decisive; curious and willing to learn; high impact individual with confidence/drive to be successful and ability to think independently and make decisions quickly
