Operations Associate

Leading Registered Investment Advisor seeks a highly motivated, organized, committed individual with
strong initiative and excellent communication skills to support investment operations.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Senior Associates and Director of Operations to:
Follow and look to improve daily control procedures, provide operational services to clients, data integrity, trade operations, investment accounting/reconciliations, proxy voting, corporate action voting, monthly performance review, resolution of daily issues
Assist with enforcing controls with special emphasis on Accounting, OMS, and post trade processes
Timely and accurate provide ad hoc, high profile, monthly, and quarterly client reporting
Monitor technology vendors and connectivity with data sources and assist with trouble shooting daily issues (CRM, Investment Tools, ISS, GWP, GWPA, Pages, etc.)
Aware of firm wide technology needs/requirements and support evolution of platform to meet and anticipate needs
Ensure internal processes and procedures to promote compliance based on SLAs requirements of institutional, dual contract, wealth advisory, and wrap business segments
Onboard client accounts – review and execute check list items; coordinate with sales and middle office; establish and maintain integrated procedures with IAAs, Institutional Marketing, Compliance, global funds management with client onboarding

Requirements:
3-5+ years in asset management industry, preferably in investment operations of global investment strategies
Excellent understanding of the investment book of record and how it interacts with various investment vehicle books of record
Manage 3rd party vendor providing critical daily processing/systems
Ability to learn and excel at day-to-day responsibilities and contribute to driving process improvement, 
standardization, and automation
Experience with trade operations, client statements, and investment accounting
Excellent business judgement; works well with cross functions and departments; able to work under tight deadlines; heightened attention to detail; excellent communication skills; able to address daily issues/identify solutions; proactive in face of complex issues or new situations
Flexible, ability to adjust schedule to be available for meetings in all global time zones
Proficient at Microsoft suite – Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel

The target base salary range for this role is $55-85k plus discretionary bonus. Actual salary will be influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, experience level, etc.
