Service Center Specialist (Contract to Hire) | Fully Remote

A broker/dealer subsidiary of a prominent group is in search of a Service Center Specialist. This role entails delivering steady customer service and aiding a network of Financial Advisors (FAs) with various inquiries, including business submissions, form completion, account upkeep, general questions, and issue resolution. The chosen candidate will also collaborate with all sectors of the team and interact with prospective and existing clients regarding queries related to their securities or advisory accounts.
 
Responsibilities:
Field incoming calls from Advisors and customers regarding product and service queries
Address customer questions and determine appropriate solutions for service-related concerns
Investigate inquiries and provide timely and professional responses
Stay updated on corporate policies, products, and departmental protocols
Aid FAs in preparing necessary documents for sales processes
Adhere to departmental benchmarks for quality and efficiency
Identify potential customer complaints and notify compliance teams
Elevate service challenges as needed
Manage the support email to assist FAs with account initiation and operational procedures
 
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, desired
5+ years of experience in the financial securities industry
3+ years in customer service or call center roles
FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 certifications
Familiarity with CRM platforms like RedTail, SalesForce, or equivalent
Strong communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

The target hourly rate for the Service Center Specialist role is $23 to $28 an hour. This figure can vary depending on factors such as skillset and experience level.
