The Business & Employment Centre is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified IT Associate.  The successful candidate will provide effective IT support services that will enable the operations of a first-class, profit-oriented and socially responsible financial institution.

Key  Duties and Responsibilities 
a)Provide end user technical support to members of staff.
b)Document desktop problems and resolutions for future reference.
c)Perform hardware installations and maintenance of servers, Virtual Private Networks (VPN) Network cabling, Video Conference Facilities, Communication systems, Wide Area Network (WAN), Internet Connectivity and other related Systems.
d)Assist in procurement of required hardware and software for the branch.
e)Processing of invoices for IT related services
f)Inventory management for hardware including Servers, Workstations, Printers, Telephone End-point Devices and Laptops
g)Maintains an up-to-date IT asset register and ensure all items are bar coded.
h)Develops maintenance schedules for IT equipment.
i)Management of Service Level Agreement with IT Service Providers.


Knowledge, skills and abilities
•    Relevant Information Technology Degree from a recognized University
•    ITIL Certification
•    Minimum of 3 years working experience in a modern IT environment. Experience in a multicultural environment would be an asset 
•    Good Knowledge and experience in Administration Network and Firewall Systems including Cisco and Forcepoint
•    Experience in providing IT Helpdesk Services
•    Experience in managing IT Assets and Procurement
•    Good knowledge of TCP/IP and related protocols such as DHCP, WINS, DNS, SMTP, POP3, and SNMP.
•    Ability to communicate and function in a culturally diverse environment and change oriented setting.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Verbal and written fluency  in French is an asset.
•    Willingness to travel and to work long hours where required to achieve objectives.
•    Highly confidential and good customer service skills.
