The Business and Employment Centre is seeking to recruit a detail-oriented financial professional to fill the position of Chief Financial Officer for one of its established clients. Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will take the lead in the strategic management of company finances, along with ensuring accurate reporting of financial statements.

Specific responsibilities

Produce monthly management accounts for the companies in two territories
Improve accounting efficiencies of the businesses
Preside over the acquisition and roll out of accounting software
Manage accounts receivable and payable
Assist with the pricing of products and product margins
Manage a correct inventory count on a monthly basis
Filing of annual financial statements for companies in two territories and calculation of corporate tax.
VAT filing for Barbados and St. Lucia ?
Any other duties as require by the scope of the role

Knowledge, skills, and abilities

1. Minimum 5-10 years experience in a senior accounting position.

2. Minimum BSc and or Masters Degree in Accounting

3. ACCA Designation or Equivalent Accounting Qualifications

4. Microsoft office suite guru

5. In-depth knowledge of Accounting software
