Urogynecology Opportunity
Eastern Regional Health Authority (EH) and the Women’s Health Program invite expressions of interest for a full-time fee for service Urogynecologist.

The successful applicant will work within an interdisciplinary team to provide full scope Obstetrics / Gynecology services in the community and at the Health Sciences Centre which is the tertiary Obstetrical center for the province. Duties will include participation in the on-call service for Obstetrics, operating room time for Gynecology, and three half-days a week of hospital gynecology clinic. On-call coverage is required and shared equitably within the group.
Through strong formal affiliations with Memorial University, and on the recommendation of the Discipline Chair, the successful candidates may be eligible for a clinical faculty appointment in the Academic Department of Laboratory Medicine and may be expected to participate in collaborative research activities and scholarship (ie: teaching). The ideal candidates will join a dynamic and enthusiastic team and will be expected to have strong communication and excellent interpersonal skills in order to function as consultants to clinicians, laboratory, and academic staff
Qualifications:
To be considered candidates must hold a medical degree and have successfully completed a residency in obstetrics/gynecology, subspecialty in urogynecology, and be eligible for Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification (or equivalent). Additionally, applicants must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador. Applicants with approved jurisdictions are welcome to apply. Hours of Work: 37.5 plus on-call obligations
