Family Physicians – Holyrood, Newfoundland
One of our clients in Holyrood, Newfoundland, a new private clinic owned by PharmaChoice, is looking for two Family Physicians for their facility. Their location is 30 minutes away from St John’s, the main city in Newfoundland and the oldest city in Atlantic Canada.
Our client has Allied Health and a pharmacy on site. As well, they have six exam/clinic rooms, which can also be used as an office space. Physicians have their own entrance, private bathroom, and parking spots. With currently 1 Chiropractor, 1 Physiotherapist, and 1 Massage Therapist, they are building a collaborative and collegial environment where specialists can thrive. Although the facility is new, this will be a busy practice as they have pre-existing clients from the pharmacy that has been open for the last 10 years.
Schedule and scope of practice: The clinic is open from Monday to Friday (9 am to 5 pm). There are no calls involved. Their service model includes both Family Practice and walk-in modality. Our client is open to both part-time and full-time.
Remuneration: To be discussed with the client. This is a fee-for-service position with a potential 80/20 split. They are open to candidates interested in leasing the space or having a managed practice (whatever the candidate prefers).

Qualifications:
Eligible for registration and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland.
Residency training in Family Medicine.
CCFP Certification & MCCQE1 exam.
