Physiatrist (BH 223)

Join this dynamic, collaborative, multi-disciplinary clinic that values excellence in clinical care and work-life balance. The range of comprehensive on-site services include diagnostic imaging (x-ray, diagnostic ultrasound, and fluoroscopically-guided pain management), allied health (physical therapy, massage therapy, psychology), and medical and surgical specialists (Physiatry, Neurology, Rheumatology, Sports Medicine, Plastic Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Anesthesiology).

An interested Physiatrist can participate in any of the following: 

• Electromyography (EMG) and Nerve Conduction (EMG machines and laboratory accreditation is provided)  
• Fluoroscopically-guided and Ultrasound-guided interventional procedures
• Fracture Management Program
• General Physiatry Consultations
• Independent Medical Examinations

The clinic has many unique clinical initiatives including:

• Carpal Tunnel Clinic
• Acute MSK Clinic
• Cast Clinic (Non-Surgical Fracture Management)
• Trigger Point Injection Program

 
REMUNERATION
Fee for service split with earning of $700,000+

QUALIFICATIONS

• Licensed (or eligible to be licensed) to practice medicine in the province of Alberta
• Fellowship training in Physiatry recognized by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC)
• Canadian Society of Clinical Neurophysiologists (CSCN) Certification (preferred)
