Full Time or Part Time Opportunity 

Location: 

Our client in the Greater Toronto Area is an Urgent Care Organization seeking a skilled Pediatric Allergist to join their team. They are located in one of the largest metropolitan areas in North America and provide urgent care services to patients of all ages. Our client has a team of 28 pediatricians in multi-site locations, providing a range of pediatric services, including routine care, urgent care,and consultations. Their Pediatric Urgent Care operates up to seven locations, offering a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

As a Pediatric Allergist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to pediatric patients with allergies and Pediatric Asthma. Your duties will include: conducting allergy tests, including skin prick tests and blood tests. Developing treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, including pediatricians, nurses, and other specialists. Educating patients and their families about allergies, including triggers, symptoms, and management strategies, as well as, assessing, managing and following up on pediatric patients with asthma. You will be required to stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in pediatric allergy care and asthma and to participate in training programs for medical staff and other health care professionals.

Compensation and Benefits: Highly competitive compensation package, including an annual salary of $400,000, paid vacation, annual bonuses, signing bonuses, retention bonuses, paid CME, relocation assistance, and extended health and dental benefits.

Requirements: 

  • Medical Degree with specialist training in Pediatrics and Allergy/Immunology.

  • Certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Pediatrics and Allergy/Immunology OR American Board Certified in Pediatrics and Allergy/Immunology.

  • Candidates must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario

  • US Board Certified Physician are eligible for independent license in Ontario

  • Strong diagnostic skills and experience in developing treatment plans for patients with allergies

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical concepts to patients and families
