The Saint John, NB area is actively seeking an Occupational Medicine Physician to join their team in New Brunswick. As an Occupational Medicine Physician, you will play a critical role in promoting the health and safety of our workforce while ensuring compliance with occupational health regulations and best practices.

JOB DUTIES:
Conduct medical evaluations for workers exposed to occupational hazards.
Diagnose and treat work-related injuries and illnesses.
Develop and implement occupational health programs and policies.
Provide expert advice on workplace safety and health regulations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize employee health.
Conduct fitness-for-duty assessments and return-to-work evaluations.
Advise on the management of disability and workers' compensation cases.
Participate in educational and training programs for employees and management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A medical degree is required.
Certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or American Board Certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty in Occupational medicine; In circumstances where no qualified Canadian trained applicants are available, equivalent certification may be considered as long as they qualify for licensure in the Province of New Brunswick.
The candidate must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick.
