Our client is seeking a cardiologist for the community of Red Deer Alberta. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive clinic-based outpatient care as well as inpatient services and call to patients with cardiac conditions . Cardiology Outpatient Clinic
Establish and maintain full time cardiology practice in the community of Red Deer. The successful candidate may choose to joining an existing independent outpatient practice or form an independent outpatient office.
Obtain and maintain a Medical Staff Appointment and appropriate privileges to provide the Services;
Provide call assistance as per call schedules, including full time participation in the Cardiology call schedule, as required;
Participate in quality improvement programs and initiatives undertaken
Contribute to and participate in other administrative responsibilities, as assigned;
Work collaboratively with peers and care team colleagues in support of patient care
Required Qualifications:
Medical Degree with specialist training in Internal Medicine with a subspecialty in Cardiology.
Must have or be eligible for Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada –sponsored position/supervision available
Must have or be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta
Preference will be given to those Cardiologists who have advanced training in Echocardiography or Nuclear Cardiology.
