Chamberlain Advisors is currently seeking a Construction Project Coordinator for our client in the Design-Build for Financial Institutions industry. This is a Direct Hire position. The Construction Project Coordinator will support and assist project management teams in organizing ongoing and upcoming projects of all sizes and work closely with the project manager to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes, and data collection for projects. You can also expect to maintain project documents, monitor project plans, schedules, submittals, participating in project meetings, and ensure that project deadlines are met in a timely manner. What You Will Be Accountable For:
Coordinates with Project Managers on multiple project schedules.
Attends project meetings and staff meetings.
Creates and maintains project checklists.
Creates projects and coordinates project documents in bidding software.
Procures project resources; research project areas, compile bidders list and contact local subcontractors/ vendors to bid projects.
Tracks progress of procurement to ensure coverage in all scopes of work.
Issues addendums /CBs to all bidders, awarded subcontractors and superintendents.
Builds project in Project Management software; Procore.
Issues, sends and track subcontracts, purchase orders and change orders.
Tracks and verifies all insurance certifications/coverage for each subcontractor per project.
Compiles, logs, and sends submittals to project team and subcontractors.
Requests and tracks closeout documents, including final reconciliation forms, warranties, and O&M data.
Compiles and distributes warranty and O&M binders for each project.
Maintains checklists and field copies for Superintendents.
Prints and distributes plan sets as needed, sends plan sets and samples to field.
Files all project documents for Project Managers, archiving project.
Assists with phones and front desk duties as needed.
What Qualifications You Need:
High school diploma/GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
2-4 years related experience and/or training experience in construction field related project administrative / coordination work
Ability to work with GCs/Subcontractors on bid awards and finalization.
Experience with Construction Project Management Software (Procore preferred but not required).
Intermediate ability and skill with MS Office products (Excel, MS Project, Outlook).
Familiarity/experience with project management software.
High skill level in written an verbal communication.
