As the local market leader, the GM will be at the forefront of building the branch from the ground up, overseeing both operations and sales efforts. The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge of the local market, particularly in multi-family rentals, and possess a robust network of flooring subcontractors.
Responsibilities:
Market Establishment: Spearhead the establishment of the market, overseeing the initial setup and groundwork for future growth. Act as a "one-person show" in the early stages, collaborating with the company and private equity firm for support.
Operations Leadership: Develop and execute strategic plans, budgets, and project management for successful flooring projects. Oversee all operational aspects, including staffing, recruitment, training, and performance management. Manage flooring projects from conception to completion, ensuring quality, timelines, and adherence to budget.
Sales and Client Relations: Focus on client acquisition and retention, leveraging in-depth market knowledge to identify new business opportunities. Work closely with the sales team to understand client needs, contribute to client growth, and foster lasting relationships.
