Location: Chicago, IL (Candidates need to be local. Role is a hybrid of WFH and on-site for 3 days per week.)

This is an initial 3-month contract with likely extensions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for growing revenue and profitability, while meeting or exceeding established annual goals. Summary
The Inside Sales Representative, Shred-it Web New Business secures new business by selling scheduled and purge Secure Information Destruction and Compliance Service Solutions. In this role you will be responsible for growing revenue and profitability, while meeting or exceeding established annual goals. You will be cultivating initial customer relationships from web inquiries, best understanding their needs before referring them forward to the sales team to close out sales. Around 40-50 leads per day are anticipated as far as workload for this position.

What You Will Be Accountable For
  • Plan and target Call Blocks to action pre-loaded leads throughout the week to demonstrate our capabilities in Secure Information Destruction and Compliance Solutions. Team member must build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
  • Prospecting and business development skills to achieve new business goals and selling scheduled or purge Secure Information Destruction and Compliance Service Solutions (Including: OSHA and HIPAA). Team Member must demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of products and services, as well as, the value proposition for customers.
  • Result oriented with a sense of urgency
  • Builds and sustains strong, trusting relationships with new customers.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned
What Qualifications You Need
  • Post-secondary education, major in business, sales and marketing preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years sales experience in similar customer-facing role, interfacing with customers and assessing their needs to best refer them out for products.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM
  • Have a consultative sales approach. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Self-starter attitude, driven, and motivated.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products, and strong internet skills.
  • Ability to sit for up to eight (8) hours per day. Ability to operate a personal computer. Ability to talk regularly over the phone with customers and co-workers up to eight (8) hours per day.
