Summary
This position is responsible for gathering, analyzing data and developing reports from various sources from the client or vendor to support the Evidence of Insurability processes.  Coordination of workflow and assignments among specialists responsible for implementing and maintaining electronic feeds for Medical Underwriting. Assisting with implementation of groups and their enrollment vendors for EOI vendor integration work supporting development, validation, testing & documentation of EOI rules for the integration.  Responsible for initiation, validation, and completion of EOI census uploads and handling error reports. Analyzing feed issues and working with Business Analysts and/or IT to resolve. Training team members.

What You Will Be Accountable For
  • Work with Account Management team, membership, medical underwriting team, groups, and brokers to complete EOI census uploads, providing eligibility data for completion of Evidence of Insurability (EOI) applications.
  • Coordinate implementation and ongoing handling of EOI vendor integration for application submissions and delivery of outbound decision files.
  • Involved in providing support for development by the vendor, validation, testing & documentation of EOI rules for the integration. 
  • Provide presentation as required on the EOI census upload or vendor integration processes.
  • Report project issues and status to appropriate parties.
  • Responsible for the validation in our internal systems of information/data provided by clients, brokers and/or vendor partners and handling error reports.
  • Analyze census upload issues and work with Business Analysts and/or IT to resolve.
  • Track and monitor cases requiring EOI census uploads with case demographics, such as, case size, situs state, frequency and complexity of conversion.
  • Responsible for supporting and completing projects that impact Underwriting across all functional areas by working with clients, account management and the medical underwriting department or across the enterprise to provide solutions to business needs.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert within various areas of accountability (e.g., group administration and group benefits).
  • Assist with production support responsibilities requiring task and team management skills.
  • Perform vendor audits as required to validate accurate EOI rules in place.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and services.
  • Facilitate assigned aspects of strategy and planning sessions.
  • Assist with developing training materials and conducting team training when appropriate.
  • Maintain cross-functional relationships to develop and enhance the customer experience.
  • Responsible for the validation in our internal systems, of information and data provided by clients, brokers and/or partners.
What Qualifications You Need
  • Bachelor’s degree OR 4 years of business experience.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills. Organizational skills. Analytical skills.
  • Training and coordination skills. Experience multi-tasking.
  • PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes. 
Preferred
  • Experience with electronic feed process.
  • Experience with group products and services.
