Title: Account Manager (OH, KY, IN Tri-State)
Location: Cincinnati, OH/Surrounding Areas (within 1 hour of Cincinnati) Position will be in-office when requested, otherwise working remotely/field 4 days/week and 1 day administrative (remotely).
Duration & Type: Full-Time/Direct Hire

Chamberlain Advisors is hiring for a Account Manager for our client within the Manufacturing and Services Industries. This is a full-time position reporting to the Head of Sales. The ideal candidate will be open to travel, hold CRM proficiency, have a minimum of 5 years of account management/sales experience, be knowledgeable in sales processes, and have sound interpersonal communications skills. This candidate will lead the sales efforts with the objective of increasing profitable sales through creating, building, and maintaining high quality relationships with existing customer base and then will focus on generating new customers. They will utilize the company’s tools/technology, products and services to connect with consumers, develop creative solutions, generate sales volume, and provide the highest level of customer service.

  • CRM Proficiency & Utilization: Proficient in utilizing CRM systems to streamline sales processes, enhance customer interactions, and drive revenue growth. Demonstrated ability to effectively navigate CRM platforms to manage leads, track customer interactions, and analyze data for actionable insights. Skilled in customizing CRM workflows and dashboards to align with organizational goals and optimize sales performance. Adept at training team members on CRM usage and fostering a culture of CRM adoption across the organization.
  • Professional Persistence: Candidates with a demonstrated ability to stay course and overcome challenges, despite the obstacles, difficulties, or setbacks they encounter along the way.  Candidates capable of repeatably doing the same task over an extended period of time.

  • Service Industry Expertise: Sales professional with diverse experience with high volume sales within the Service and/or Rental Industries, which can be, but is not limited to: automotive services/leading retailers such as AutoZone and O'Reilly parts, and prominent heavy equipment rental companies specializing in tractors, earth movers, and heavy construction equipment rentals, industrial, manufacturing sales, parts sales, etc.

What You Will Be Accountable For:
  • Increase business by generating sales to new customers and by building relationships with existing customers, so the client is top of mind when they need something.
  • Effectively communicate the features and benefits of our product offering. Collaborate with leadership, team members and suppliers in planning, tracking, and implementing sales strategies and developing new markets. 
  • Regular contact with potential prospects selling a wide variety of products including maintenance services to the transportation and Construction industry.
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships. Learn and evaluate customer operations to aid in identifying customer objectives, requirements, and preferences in order to present a unique solution to each customer tailored to their business objectives and needs. 
  • Collaborate with customers and team members for product quotations and provide on-going communication throughout the customer's purchasing lifecycle. 
  • Work with management, credit, and customers to resolve payment issues promptly. 
  • Gather and report to management information regarding the company, competitors, pricing, products, and current and future market. 
  • Actively participate in professional development to improve professional selling skills and maintain technical capabilities. Participate in company training/development, special promotions, sales meetings, supplier seminars and training schools to enhance and maintain personal and product knowledge. 
  • Maintain accurate and timely records including sales call schedules and expense reports. 
  • Coordinate sales calls with vendors to introduce and demonstrate products, identify customer needs, and promote product and service solutions. 
  • Responsible for selling, marketing, promoting, and demonstrating products.
  • Utilize and champion digital tools, customer solutions and services to gain a competitive advantage. 


What Qualifications You Need: 

  • 5-7 years of sales or account management experience. Highly preferred experience within the following industries Agriculture, Construction, Earth Moving, Emergency Response, Forestry, Hydraulics, Material Handling, Oil & Gas Exploration, Power Generation or Trucking.
  • Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively both orally, verbally, and written at all levels, and the ability to troubleshoot, and develop solutions to fit the customer’s needs. 
  • Demonstrated strong organizational and documentation skills, utilizing highly detail-oriented, self-motivation skills and ability to prioritize multiple/concurrent tasks and deliverables. 
  • Demonstrated experience with negotiation skills, holding the ability to drive decisions with influence.
  • Ability to quickly learn the industry, company, products and services, and processes.  
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office as well as relevant ERP systems and Customer Relation Management Tools (CRM).    
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
