Clutch is looking for an Account Director for a client of ours.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional teams for marketing, with a strong focus on digital and social media, to implement strategies for client accounts.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with a high level of quality.
  • Promote collaboration and maintain strong client relationships, always keeping client and product strategy in focus.
  • Review major deliverables to maintain quality standards.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, providing exemplary customer service and prioritizing client and product strategy.
  • Oversee the financial aspects of client relationships, including compliance with contracts, timelines, and budgets.
  • Develop and defend client statements of work (SOW) with input from the core team.
  • Create strategic/creative briefs for all projects, securing client agreement and effectively communicating the vision to the core team.
  • Actively lead client presentations, advocating for and defending the agency's perspective.
  • Attend and lead client meetings, congresses, and post-project debriefs.
  • Actively seek new business opportunities within current clients in line with strategic goals and objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry and therapeutic area best practices to ensure the agency and clients remain cutting-edge.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree is required, and an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' agency experience in pharmaceutical marketing and account services.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing over $3 million in annual fees specific to a pharmaceutical marketing agency.
  • Substantial experience in leading medical marketing initiatives, including print, video, digital, and social media campaigns.
  • Strong leadership, integrity, diplomacy, and communication skills.
  • Ability to provide management direction and developmental support to direct reports.
  • Proficiency in managing key constituent relationships, identifying key issues, and overcoming challenges.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, including effective presentation and persuasion skills.
