Legility seeks a mid-level litigation attorney (5+ years) to join the Legility Attorney Team of a large healthcare client located in Nashville, TN. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a variety of types of litigation – particularly private payor cost recovery and handling claim denials. This is a remote, full-time contract opportunity. The contract duration is long-term - at least 6 months or longer. Preference is for an attorney in the greater Nashville area who is able to attend occasional on-site meetings if needed.

Requirements:

Minimum 5+ years of solid litigation experience either in-house or with a large law firm
Demonstrated ability to manage numerous cases and different types of litigation activities, including claims denials
Background in healthcare litigation or litigation for a regulated industry is a plus, but not required
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects and to work well with in-house counsel
Experience and ability to work independently on a remote basis; desire to work on contract basis
Strong academic background from a top law school
An active law license in Tennessee
