Consilio seeks a mid-level litigation attorney (3 - 5+ years) on contract to join the Consilio Attorney Team of a large healthcare client headquartered in Nashville, TN. The ideal candidate on contract will have experience handling a variety of types of litigation – particularly private payor cost recovery and handling claim denials. This is a remote, full-time contract opportunity. Contract duration is long-term: 12 months and ideally longer. Preference is for an attorney in the greater Nashville area, in-state Tennessee, and Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. Nearby area candidates will be considered. Requirements:
Minimum 3-5+ years of solid litigation experience either in-house or with a large law firm
Demonstrated ability to manage numerous cases and different types of litigation activities, including medical claims or records review
Background in healthcare litigation or litigation for a regulated industry is a plus, but not required
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects and to work well with in-house counsel and in a collaborative team environment
Experience and ability to work independently on a remote basis; desire to work long-term on a contract basis
Strong academic background from a top law school
An active law license in Tennessee or the state where domiciled
The hourly rate for the Litigation Attorney opportunity is $42 per hour based on experience level and specific skills requested by the client, the required general skill set, applicability of candidate skill set to client need, and client budget.
