Consilio seeks Litigation / Administrative Law Attorneys licensed to practice law in Tennessee to support a large public entity client. This opportunity is open to attorneys with at least two years of experience, with compensation commensurate to experience. The Attorney must have strong oral and written communication skills. Prior experience with administrative proceedings is strongly desired, including knowledge of the Uniform Administrative Procedures Act, the Rules of Civil Procedure, the Rules of Evidence, and the Code of Federal Regulations. This is a full-time, long-term contract position with an anticipated duration of 18-24 months. While this opportunity is primarily remote, Candidates must be willing and able to attend a required first-day training course on-site in Nashville, and to travel to Nashville to pick-up and return equipment.
Requirements:
- Active license to practice law in Tennessee and domiciled in Tennessee.
- Ability to attend a first-day training course on-site in Nashville (with remaining training to be performed remotely).
- Desire and ability to commit to a full-time, long-range project on a contract basis.
- Ability to review and accurately read documents and to conduct regulatory and legal research for extended periods of time.
- Ability to compose thoughtful and analytical legal documents and resolve complex legal issues.
- Ability to operate office computer systems and comfortable with technology in general.
- Timeliness and excellent organizational skills, including ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage workload to meet specific timeframes and deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and to meet strict deadlines.
