Join a green-field opportunity to take responsibility for designing data management solutions in AWS at one of the largest REITs in the country. You will need strong Data Engineering and Data Modeling capability particularly with Python, SQL and Event streaming. The role includes:

Designing Event based Data Models for our Customer Experience platform and supporting Business Processes
Implementing Data Acquisition and Data Persistence strategies to support our Data Transformation
Working closely with our Digital Development team to support Customer Experience Applications development.
Working closely with our Data Analytics team to implement Business Intelligence solutions that leverage our Snowflake and S3 based Data Lake.
Working closely with our Data Science team to support real time machine learning, forecasting and simulation solutions.
Implementing Data Governance best practices
Implementing automated quality assurance best practices

Qualifications required:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or other technical field, and 5 years experience developing data pipelines in AWS.
Deep knowledge of Data Modeling and Event based solutions.
Expertise in Python, SQL and AWS Kinesis or other streaming technologies.
Understanding of data warehousing methodologies and data lake concepts.
Experience with Snowflake a plus.
The ability to explain complex technical material to non-technical audiences.
