ServiceNow Architect

Contract Description

We currently have a contract opportunity for a ServiceNow Architect to lend specific subject matter knowledge around:

Technical Leadership: Provide technical design and specifications and leadership throughout the ServiceNow ITSM implementation process, ensuring solutions meet technical requirements and industry standards. Lead development and implementation of ServiceNow applications in the area of ITSM
Solution Architecture: Architect comprehensive solutions within the ServiceNow platform, leveraging your deep technical expertise to address complex business needs and optimize ITSM and ITOM processes. Knowledge and experience of defining application and data architecture roadmaps for significant business / functional scopes. Experience of defining and running architecture governance processes, and of shaping and communicating architectural strategy. Extensive experience of developing, syndicating and communicating initial business cases and cases for action
System Integration: Oversee the integration of ServiceNow with existing systems and tools, ensuring seamless interoperability and data exchange to support end-to-end IT service delivery.
Project Delivery: Experience of Scaled Agile Framework methodologies, and a broad knowledge of business practices, processes and tools. Partner closely with executive stakeholders and their teams around delivering solutions in ServiceNow to key business initiatives
Performance Optimization: Identify opportunities for performance optimization and scalability enhancements within ServiceNow solutions, implementing best practices to maximize system performance and efficiency.
Technical Consultation: Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients, offering expert insights and recommendations on ServiceNow platform capabilities, configuration options, and technical architecture.
Technical Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including system designs, configurations, and integration specifications, to support implementation efforts and facilitate knowledge transfer.
Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous testing and quality assurance procedures to validate the functionality, reliability, and security of implemented solutions, adhering to industry best practices and standards. Perform system and integration testing and have an understanding of good development and testing practices



- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Extensive hands-on experience 8+ years with ServiceNow platform implementation, configuration, and customization.
- Proven track record of serving as a Technical Lead or Solution Architect for ServiceNow projects, with a strong focus on ITSM and ITOM modules.
- In-depth understanding of IT Service Management principles, processes, and methodologies, with a technical perspective.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Glide) and development tools (e.g., Studio, ATF).
- Strong knowledge of system integration techniques, web services, and API-based integrations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues within the ServiceNow platform.
- ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist).
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on emerging trends and technologies in IT service management and ServiceNow platform.
