Hansell Tierney is assisting our client, a breakthrough renewable energy company, with their search for Program Manager. This position involves supporting our client's innovative projects related to various novel power system technologies. 

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate, provide recommendations to management, and implement proposed strategies for radioactive material waste and transportation.
  • Take the lead in coordinating radioactive material supply and product transportation and handling logistics, collaborating with internal project stakeholders, commercial fabrication partners, deployment customers, and transportation partners.
  • Work closely with our client's RPS fabrication facility partner(s) to execute low-level radioactive material disposition strategies.
  • Conduct analyses of our client's RPS lifecycle, developing cost-effective strategies for process waste and transportation, covering feedstock material, fabrication, assembly, and deployment.
  • Prepare and support documentation, encompassing design specifications, equipment specifications, inspection and maintenance procedures, component design details, concept of operations, and licensing materials.
  • Support our client's regulatory efforts, which may involve drafting or reviewing filings, participating in engagements, and contributing to regulatory technical papers.
  • Manage and evaluate commercial contracts with our client's partners and subcontractors.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders, including technical conferences.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • B.S. with 5+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
  • Understanding of radiological material regulations and transportation requirements.
  • The candidate must be a self-starter and capable of interfacing with internal and external stakeholders with minimal direction.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure in an uncertain environment.
  • Clearly demonstrate the ability to work either independently or as part of a team.
  • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
Location: Washington DC

Compensation & Benefits: The anticipated salary band for this position is $120,000 - 160,000 + Stock Options and other generous benefits.
