Our client is seeking a talented and experienced contract IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead multiple infrastructure projects. This individual will collaborate closely with full-time staff, providing oversight and leadership for the duration of the projects.

Project Leadership: Lead and manage multiple IT infrastructure projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring projects are completed within scope, budget, and schedule.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and team members to define project objectives, deliverables, and timelines. Maintain regular communication to ensure alignment and progress.
Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, including reconciliations, spending forecasts, and resource allocations. Ensure efficient utilization of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
Schedule Management: Develop and publish project schedules, defining key milestones and deliverables. Monitor progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet project goals.
Documentation Management: Maintain comprehensive documentation throughout each phase of the project lifecycle, including project plans, meeting minutes, risk registers, and other relevant artifacts. Ensure all documentation is organized and accessible for audit purposes.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively. Develop contingency plans and escalate critical issues as needed to ensure project success.
Quality Assurance: Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to best practices in IT infrastructure management and information security.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Proven experience (X years) in managing IT infrastructure projects, preferably within a large organization or government agency.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and team members.
Experience with budget management, including reconciliations and spending forecasts.
Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet).
Knowledge of information security principles and best practices is a plus.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred.
Estimated Hourly Pay Rate: $63.00 - $75.00
