We are currently assisting our client with their search for a contract Accountant role.
Location: Downtown Seattle, Hybrid remote
Length of Assignment: ~4 months

Our client is looking for a contract Accountant to support their internal team with gaps in work tasks while much of their team has been redirected to focus on a major ERP upgrade project.
Work will include, but is not limited to: completing account reconciliations, journal entries, supporting audit requests, and other accounting tasks.

Description:
Our client is looking for a contract Accountant to support their internal team with gaps in work tasks while much of their team has been redirected to focus on a major ERP upgrade project.
Work will include, but is not limited to: completing account reconciliations, journal entries, supporting audit requests, and other accounting tasks.
In this role, your essential functions will be to:
- Perform and help oversee financial closing activities, such as preparing reviewing journal entries
- Analyze financial results and communicate them with stakeholder
- Support Audit requirements including internal, external, and compliance audit
- Work with your peers to identify and implement process improvements
- Prepare and present working papers and accurate supporting documentation to leaders
- Participate in special projects, developmental opportunities, and other tasks as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- One to three years of experience with progressive levels of responsibility
- Preferred: CPA licensed or CPA eligible
