HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Credentialing Specialist to fill an opening with a Health System in Davie, FL.
Daily Responsibilities for Credentialing Specialist:
This position is primarily responsible for the timely and compliant processing credentialing and re-credentialing applications of healthcare providers.
Our customer is the provider and the clinic stakeholders. You will oversee initial and re-credentialing process for medical staff. Complete, review and follow-up on provider credentialing applications and accompanying documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm EST
Required Qualifications for Credentialing Specialist:
2+ years of with credentialing providers and managing credentialing database.
Experience with CAQH profile and attestation
Understanding of Medicare and Medicaid Verification
Knowledge of Medical / Commercial Insurance application process
Preferred Qualifications for Credentialing Specialist:
CPCS, CPMSM and/or NCQA certification
