HealthCare Support is actively seeking aCertified or Registered Medical Assistant to fill an opening with a one of the largest medical practices in Cummings, GA.
Daily Responsibilities for the Certified or Registered Medical Assistant:
We are looking for a strong Medical Assistant to work in our Ambulatory Surgery Center.
You will need to have experience with back office duties such as documenting patient medical history, giving injections, EKGs, taking vitals, etc.
Required Qualifications for the Certified or Registered Medical Assistant:
Must have a HS Diploma or GED
Must be a certified or registered Medical Assistant through an approved credentialing agency
Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience
A valid State of Georgia Driver's License and reliable transportation is required
Proficiency using EMR, EHR, as well as Microsoft Office Applications
Excellent organizational, time management and follow through skills are required
Preferred Qualifications for the Certified or Registered Medical Assistant:
Associate degree
Bilingual in English and Spanish
