HealthCare Support is actively seeking a permanent full time Medical Lab Technician to fill an opening with a nationally ranked healthcare provider in Canton, GA
 
Daily Responsibilities for Medical Lab Technician:

• The Medical Laboratory Technician will be responsible for conducting various laboratory tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases. The technician will operate sophisticated laboratory equipment and instruments, prepare specimens, and ensure that the laboratory operations adhere to standards and regulations for quality, safety, and privacy.
• Schedule: Nights & Evenings

  
Required Qualifications for Medical Lab Technician:

• Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution and applicants must be eligible for an appropriate certification examination. Acceptable certifying agencies include: ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS (HEW)
• Associates Degree in laboratory science (Chemical or Biological Science) or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution and certification as a Medical Technologist. Acceptable certifying agencies include: ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS (HEW)
• Graduate of a Military Program in Science (health science, biology, chemical, physical, medical technology) and certification as a Medical Technologist. Acceptable certifying agencies include ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS (HEW)
• Grandfathered Medical Technologist by having previously qualified as a technologist on or before February 28, 1992 and current certification as a Medical Technologist. Acceptable certifying agencies include ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS (HEW)
• Ability to implement and perform clinical laboratory procedures according to proper standards and regulations.
• Must submit to a Color-Acuity screening Test

Pay Details:  $25 - $28 /hour (Based on experience)
