Registered Nurse (PICU)

Nurses Etc. Staffing has several open positions for Registered Nurses (RN) to work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at the Portsmouth Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, VA.

Position Requirements:

• Must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• A graduate from an academic program, within the nursing specialty field of study that is accredited by a regional or national nursing accrediting agency.
• Must have at least 18 months of full-time experience as an RN working in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) within the last 24 months
• Must have a current unrestricted license to practice as a (RN) registered nurse in any one of the 50 States

Certification Requirements:

• Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Labs, and Emotional Support (S.T.A.B.L.E.).
