Position Qualification/Requirements:
• Degree/Education: Associates Degree of Nursing
• Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support: One of the following: Commission for Case Manager Certification Certified Case Manager (CCM), Certification of Disability Management Specialists Commission: Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS), Association of Rehabilitation Nurses: Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN), American Board for Occupational Health Nurses Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) or Certified Occupational Health Nurse-Specialist (COHN-S), or National Board for Certification in Continuity of Care: Advanced Certification in Continuity of Care (ACCC). The RN shall have a current active, unencumbered Registered Nursing license from any state or territory of the United States. Possess or obtain national certification in case management as accepted by the URAC Case Management Standards is preferred, however certification is not required. The government will not reimburse for these costs.
• Experience: minimum of three (3) years’ experience within the past five (5) years in an acute care setting, or healthcare service organization that requires skilled medical/surgical nursing interventions (e.g., medical/surgical inpatient wards or outpatient clinics, Intensive Care Units, Home Health, Hospice). Preferably includes experience with a diverse range of patient age groups.
• Board Certification: National Certification in Case Management
• Licensure/Registration: current, full, active, unencumbered, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse from any state or territory of the United States as required.
