Degree/Education

Graduate of an Acupuncture Program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM) or a certified medical acupuncturist

Experience:

Two years’ experience within the past three years in an active acupuncture health care practice in which he/she consistently administered both diagnosis and treatment services

Licensure/Registration:

Current, unrestricted license to practice acupuncture in any one of the fifty
States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Shall be a member in good standing with the State Board of Acupuncture Examiners in the state which
he/she currently practices with no current acupuncture license restrictions.

Duties:

Serves as an Acupuncturist offering a full array of the most current and emerging evidence-based Integrative Medicine approaches for patients with acute and chronic pain who have not responded well to conventional treatment modalities in accordance with the scope of clinical privileges granted by the MTF.
Examine all patients prior to initiating a treatment procedure or providing appropriate services.
Provide appropriate therapeutic procedures and provide a full range of therapy services in support of patient referrals.
