Job Description:
Candidate with heavy industrial, power, oil/gas or manufacturing IC&E experience.
- Experience troubleshooting logic on plant DCS systems.
- Knowledge of 480 volt equipment.
- Must be able to troubleshoot and repair low voltage electrical control systems.
- Ability to understand Electrical Area Classification and installation requirement for electrical equipment in hazardous areas.
- Understanding of digital control systems and valves, transmitters and transducers.
- Interpret technical documentation: data sheets, vendor manuals, troubleshooting flowcharts, etc. Interpret/ prepare technical drawings from simple schematics to complex P&IDs, instrument loop diagrams, and PLC ladder logic diagrams.
- Understand digital control systems and valves, transmitters and transducers.
- Configure digital transmitters. Interpret data from advanced diagnostic programs for instrumentation.
- Reassemble instruments, test and calibrate assembly for conformance with specifications using test instruments such as multimeters, manometers, smart communicators and pressure instruments.
