Title:  Operations & Maintenance Manager

Location:  Boscawen, NH

Pay:  $125,000-$140,000 Base – 25% Bonus – Full Benefits – Relocation Assistance

Schedule:  Monday – Friday, after hours as needed

Job Description:

  • Effectively organize daily activities and oversee proper and efficient daily work of all operations and maintenance personnel
  • Provide guidance and over-site to keep boiler and turbine performance at maximum levels.
  • Manage and implement established operator and technical training programs.
  • Administer and supervise studies to improve plant operations, maintenance, or equipment and monitor the effectiveness of plant manuals and procedures, instituting changes or additions, as required.
  • Ensure the plant’s readiness to meet unusual situations and safe/efficient day-to-day operations.
  • Proficiently inspect boilers and machinery and meet plant performance targets.
  • Oversee or compile various reports at plant and corporate levels.
  • Adhere to environmental, health, and safety procedures and permit requirements.
  • Maintenance experience with rotating and electrical generation (turbine generator) equipment.
  • Experience with predictive maintenance programs, planning outages, and overseeing mechanical maintenance of a power plant.
  • Knowledge of boiler water and cooling tower treatment programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications and organizational skills.
  • Off-hours work may be required.
  • Coordinate all activities of the maintenance and E & I staff and coordinate all activities to include but not be limited to installing, inspecting, testing, repairing, adjusting, and calibrating all plant equipment and instrumentation.
  • Plan and conduct major outages; sets up and directs PM programs, lubrication plans.
  • Develop and maintain record of plant maintenance, including work orders, P.M., lubrication planning, planned outages and inspections.
  • Prepares work orders indicating malfunctions of instruments and authorizes work order requests.
  • Requisitions new parts and instruments.
  • Administer predictive analysis program for all mechanical and electrical systems and equipment.
  • Anticipate typical problems, identify potential or recurring problems, and takes appropriate action.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and assists in diagnosing problem areas.
