Job Description
Plans, coordinates, implements, and promotes effective and reliable programs and ongoing practices, processes, and actions to ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, permits, permit conditions, and other agreements related to environmental protection, health, and safety issues.
Essential Functions
- Health & Safety Program Development and Administration
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
Skillset:
- 7 + years experience with safety program management
- 3+ years of utilities experience
