Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Orlando, FL - CAN BE BASED ANYWHERE IN THE UNITED STATES
Compensation: $70,000-$80,000

What We're Looking For:
- The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or similar from an accredited university
- This person should have at least 4 years of GL accounting experience
- CPA or Masters in preferred
- Must be a great communicator and be able to work independently
- SAP experience preferred
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assist in all closing processes and financial statement preparation.
- Doing research and analysis every quarter to make recommendations to all related accounting functions
- Compile reports revenue recognition, including calculating deferred revenue and posting revenue payments
- Makes recommendations and creates plans to improve internal controls when necessary
- Post journal entries
- Daily and weekly balance sheet reconciliations and checking for accuracy and thoroughness.
- Applies standard GAAP methods; makes recommendations to improve practices or procedures.
