Position: Tax Manager/Senior Manager

Schedule: Hybrid
Compensation: $150,000 - $160,000

As a Tax Manager/Senior Manager, you will serve as an integral part of the firm’s Tax Advisory practice, working in conjunction with tax and financial professionals.

- You are an accomplished direct tax professional
- You have a CPA designation
- You have broad exposure to federal, state, and international income taxation matters
- You have excellent analytical and organizational skills
- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
What you will do:
- Help supervise the efforts of multiple client services teams on client engagements; planning, executing, directing, and completing tax projects in a wide variety of industries; providing innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients
- Effectively manage engagement fundamentals (i.e., realization, utilization, leverage, accounts receivable, expenses)
- Conduct primary review of complicated or complex tax returns prepared by staff and making recommendations on return preparation regarding accuracy and tax savings opportunities
- Conduct primary review of ASC 740 income tax provision engagements
- Maintain a good working relationship with clients as the primary service team contact and working effectively with client management and staff at all levels to gather information and perform tax services
What will you need:
- You will need 5+ years of relevant tax experience in a CPA firm, a professional services firm, or a tax consulting practice
- You have a CPA designation
- An advanced tax degree (MST, JD, LLM) is preferred
- Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or a Business-related field of study
- You have the ability to work at a fast pace, providing timely communication on key risks and potential adjustments
- You have the demonstrated leadership, training, mentoring and staff development skills
- You must need a strong commitment to professional advancement
