What We’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of cost accounting experience

Manufacturing industry experience (preferred)
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
-
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
What You’ll Be Doing:

Analyze production costs and compare it with projected costs, as well as determine where adjustments are needed

Keep track of inventory and figure out why it might be different from expectations

Determine the costs of different parts of our business (Ex. Materials and labor) and develop better ways to track this information

Update costs on a regular cadence

Monitor expenses (Ex. Utilities and rent) and report any changes compared to what budgets
-
Ensure a regular inventory count is completed, adjust as needed, and report any discrepancies

Lead the monthly financial closing process and prepare reports

Compare budget to actual spending and discuss differences with department heads

Assist with forecasting future expenses

Collaborate with management to find ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs

Continuously seek opportunities to enhance business operations
