Title: Material Planner
Location: Dallas, TX
Salary: $70,000 - 90,000

What You’ll Be Doing:

Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure the timely availability of materials for manufacturing processes.
Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to plan and execute material orders based on production requirements.
Monitor inventory levels and track material usage to prevent stockouts or overages.
Analyze demand forecasts, production schedules, and inventory data to identify potential risks or opportunities for optimization.
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
Implement inventory management strategies to minimize carrying costs while ensuring adequate supply to support production needs.
Communicate with internal stakeholders to provide updates on material availability, shortages, or other relevant issues.
Generate reports and analyze data to support decision-making and performance monitoring.

What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in business or related major preferred
Minimum 2 years of production planning or supply chain planning experience
ERP experience required
Proficiency in Word and Excel, which requires a detailed understanding of Excel spreadsheets.
Excellent communication, analytical and organization skills
Ability to plan and prioritize a wide variety of activities
