Job Title: Purchasing Manager

Salary Range: $100k - $125k

Bonus: Discretionary based on company performance ranging  anywhere from $2,000 to $8,000

Overview: As the Purchasing Manager you will be responsible for daily procurement activities, cost savings initiatives, and vendor sourcing across multiple product lines. This role offers an opportunity to oversee purchasing operations for our diverse range of brands. While prior managerial experience is advantageous, candidates without managerial backgrounds will also be considered, particularly if they demonstrate strong leadership potential and a commitment to long-term growth within the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee procurement for all brands across various manufacturing facilities
  • Collaborate with vendors to negotiate favorable terms, ensuring cost savings and quality standards are met
  • Manage inventory levels and optimize supply chain efficiency
  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies to support company objectives
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including production, finance, and logistics, to ensure seamless operations
  • Stay updated on industry trends and market dynamics to inform purchasing decisions
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier agreements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • At least 4 years of experience in purchasing or procurement role
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain vendor relationships
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative and dynamic work environment
  • Flexibility in work hours and willingness to occasionally travel as needed
