Sr. Project Manager/Public Works Corpus Christi, TX $90-$135K DOE + SO + relo
Our Client, a Corpus Christi civil engineering firm founded on April 1, 1965, has grown to become an industry leader in surveying and site development work for both residential and commercial land developers. Their dynamic team in Corpus Christi has a need for a Senior Project Manager - Public Works. In this role you will support their land & site clients while focusing on developing sound projects and delivering high quality service offerings for a variety of clients. What you will do:
You will be the Sr. Project Manager leading projects that are transforming raw land into livable communities.
You will oversee an experienced staff of engineers with an extensive background in land development for both private and public clients.
Your team will produce the most efficient and cost-effective designs for various developments, including healthcare, higher education, K-12, commercial mixed-use, industrial, and manufacturing, retail, and single-family/multi-family residential.
What you bring:
B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
15+ years as a Licensed Professional Engineer. Willing to attain Texas PE with in 6 months
15+ years of progressive engineering experience with an emphasis on land & site development
Working knowledge of AutoCAD & HEC RAS software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Positive attitude to take initiative on projects, coordinate effectively with other team members, adapt to changing conditions/requirements, take ownership of mistakes, and ask for direction when needed
Ability to work in high pressure situations, prioritize, and meet deadlines while working on multiple concurrent projects
Ability to participate and collaborate in project team settings, engage in creative and critical thought, and effectively communicate ideas, design issues and solutions to others
Proven organization and proactive time management skills
Strong desire to learn and take on new types of projects
Ability to recognize when technical problems develop and proactively take corrective actions using sound professional judgment, creativity, and innovation.
