Responsibilities:
- Controlling – Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting (liaising with HQ Finance Team).
- Taxes – Oversee tax planning and filing liaising with external service provider.
- Banking – Manage banking relationship and cash flow reporting.
- Insurances – Oversee local policies supporting HQ Finance Team.
- Legal – Participate and support in designer brand contract negotiations.
- Accounts Payable – Ensure supplier invoices and expenses are approved, posted, reconciled and paid on a timely basis (liaising with HQ Finance Team).
- Accounts Receivable – Preparation, reconciliation and collection of commissions liaising directly with designers.
- Ad hoc – Support New York team and HQ Finance Team as and when needed.
Qualifications:
- Qualified CPA (or equivalent) accounting degree
- Excellent knowledge of Excel.
- Previous exposure to Netsuite and/or QuickBooks would be desirable.
- An enthusiastic, motivated and a committed ‘can do’ attitude.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate with colleagues and external people at all levels of seniority.
- To be a trustworthy, reliable, team player who is able to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
Salary: $160,000 - $180,000
