The Graphic Designer creates all website/social/email/advertising graphic designs and brand creative needs. This role is responsible for developing designs in line with the brand design guidelines. The workload includes translating seasonal visual brand direction into seasonal designs, and execution across channels and platforms. This role is also responsible for sourcing and overseeing all print production.  This role reports to the Art Director.
 
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Creative core team to execute the tone set by the brand's Art Director to bring our brand’s seasonal vision to life
  • Create all brand collateral and assets for web, email, social, advertising, etc. (see example projects below
  • Participate in weekly creative briefing and status meetings with Project Manager and work with PM to develop, coordinate and meet all project timelines.
  • Source and oversee any print production
Projects may include but are not limited to:
  • Retouching and optimizing brand photos
  • Ability to create digital assets (including photo, video/motion, animations, etc.)
  • Creation of social assets (GIF’s, REELS, Stories, Animation)
  • Design of invites
  • Gifting outreach collateral
  • Packaging design
  • Event Collateral
    • Emails
    • Social promo
    • Physical (menus, signs)
    • Business cards
  • Merchandising Projects:
    • Create seasonal line sheet of clothing line by collaborating with design and merchandising team
  • Physical collateral for brand + promo
    • Mural
    • Business cards
    • Hand outs
    • Digital ads (subway, arena boards, etc.)
    • Print ads
  • Digital collateral for brand channels
    • Social
    • Paid

  • Seasonal Look books for Merchandising
  • Resizing/Cropping images for PDP as needed
  • Adding special banners to PDP images
  • Monthly Brand/Product/Campaign Instagram stories & posts
  • Monthly Paid Media
  • Monthly homepage updates
  • Working closely with digital to design out collection/special pages
  • Monthly Sale creative (Paid, Web, Social)
  • Communicating with Marketing & Creative to align and balance strategy, messaging, and visual creative
    • Working with Marketing to determine overall strategy for a given execution (campaign, gift guide, sale, seasonal, product focus)
    • Communicating and working closely with Digital + Social teams to create content that is tailored to perform on each platform while working closely with Art Director to make sure all content is visually aligned with brand and up to standards
  • Organizing and delivering assets through Dropbox
  • Partner/Collab promotional asset creation
  • Passing brand + photo assets to partners
  • Cropping campaign images for social + paid (1x1, 4x5, 9x16) (with + without logo)
  • Video editing/finessing as needed (swapping out sounds, cropping videos, repurposing old videos)
  • Motion/Animation as needed (flat gifs for paid, animated text + graphics for social)
  • Google banner ads
  • Social banner updates (YouTube, Pinterest, Linked in, Facebook)
  • Helping with creative decks as needed


Skills Needed:
  • MUST have previous experience in an advertising agency or similar high-paced, heavy workload environment
  • Must be a digital native and have previous experience working on retail/fashion or beauty brands
  • Must possess a thorough understanding of interactive communications and delivery systems, processes, and user interface design as well as retail industry best practices
  • Have a strong knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography & limitations of the web
  • Possess print and web design capabilities: must know how to work in both media for integrated campaigns
  • Ability to lead projects from concept to completion. Apply best practices in user interface and interactive design, including image optimization and site mapping
  • Experience with software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign & Flash
  • Experience with Adobe After Effects & video editing (a plus)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects from concept through completion
Salary: $85,000 - $90,000
