Logistics Manager
Location: Los Angeles, California
Salary: $70k-75k base salary + bonus and benefits
Our client, a leading fashion company in Los Angeles, is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize their supply chain operations. As the Logistics Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of goods from production to distribution. Responsibilities:
Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and meet customer requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including 3PL to ensure seamless coordination of activities and timely delivery of products
Manage transportation activities, including freight forwarding, shipping, and customs clearance, to optimize cost, speed, and reliability of deliveries
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, such as on-time delivery, transportation costs, and inventory accuracy to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Implement and maintain inventory management systems, ensuring accurate inventory tracking, minimizing stockouts, and optimizing inventory levels
Collaborate with external parties to ensure efficient and effective warehousing and distribution operations.
Requirements:
Proven experience (5+ years) In logistics management, preferably within the fashion industry
Strong knowledge of supply chain processes.
Familiarity with logistics software and systems
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, with a focus on cost optimization and service quality.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
