Growing Bridge Jewelry company in midtown NYC that manufactures in China, and Thailand looking for Sourcing Coordinator with Jewelry experience. Will be given factories and will have to negotiate best prices and shipping terms to give to production. Mandarin speaking strongly preferred. 3 - 5 years' experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review and confirm all samples from suppliers, along with evaluating any required improvements or changes.
- Will have to negotiate better prices and determine methods for shipping out before passing to production team
- Review new products upon arrival and resolve and follow up on any packaging or product quality-related issues.
- Communicate with suppliers daily to further progress and optimize the production and delivery process.
- Work effectively within cross-functional teams, sharing critical information with everyone involved in a project.
- Learn, understand, and carefully follow detailed documented work procedures.
- Ensure accuracy in documentation and data entry.
- Anticipate potential future problems and opportunities, remaining at-the-ready for a number of different outcomes.
Ideal Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience
- Must have experience with Jewelry
- Ability to prioritize and multitask with a keen sense of detail.
- Act as a team player.
- Is able to handle fast paced environment, can finish projects before deadline.
- Solve problems in a timely manner.
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, highly organized.
- Strong capabilities in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Salary: $65,000 - $80,000
