Luxury Multi-Brand Retailer on the UES is hiring a Sr. level Retail Manager (Sr. Store Manager to General Manager level). This is a high volume store with opportunity to earn commission. The Store/General Manager works with the store team to help achieve store sales goals and maximize profitability. Through effective management in partnership with the President, the Store/General Manager works to create a store experience for our clients that results in sales growth. You will be responsible for continuously improving and developing your business, the store team and ownership of store responsibilities.

  • Seeking 5-8 years of Store Management in Luxury/Contemporary
  • Preferred experience: Multi Brand
  • Long term growth potential (ie; EC Regional Management trajectory)
  • Reports into President
  • ~10 employees in the store
  • Approximate Salary Range: 120-140K + Commission (on individual sales) + Monthly Sales Bonus . Total package potential ~200k
  • **PLEASE NOTE: This requires the ability to work weekends (atleast 1 day/weekend—typical days off are Sunday and Wednesday)

Key Areas of Responsibilities
Sales & Client Services
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen by leveraging KPI’s to meet and exceed store goals.
  • Play an active role on the sales floor to create an engaging and dynamic environment; host a personalized styling experience for all clients.
  • Capture client data to build long lasting relationships.
  • Develop and motivate staff through clear communication, goal setting and regular coaching opportunities to grow planned business.
  • Resolve all client issues and complaints quickly and effectively ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Provide our unique experience ensuring that each client is offered personalized head-to-toe luxury styling delivering a wardrobe that perfectly reflects their lifestyle.

  • Partner with the Buying & Merchandising team to ensure product assortment is consistent with market needs and sales goals.
  • Ensure all team members are well versed and trained in all product knowledge.

Marketing & Events
  • Key stakeholder in identifying and targeting key clients with charitable groups and/or schools ties to partner with for in-store shopping events.  Targeting 1 in-store charitable event per quarter through store generated leads.
  • Act as the liaison for our company in the local community to identify influential organizations that would be good partners for the company.
  • Partnering with the Events & PR department to ensure that once events are confirmed, the store supports them to be as successful as possible, including disseminating information to store team, encouraging stylist outreach to clients, and providing timely feedback.
  • Working with Events & Planning departments to offer feedback on creating realistic yet strong sales goals for each event.

  • Uphold all visual merchandising standards set forth by the brand.
  • Reference floor set images within one drive to accurately maintain shop floor displays.
  • Support in the placement of new product deliveries when needed.
  • Ensure product in store is accurately replenished.

Human Resources
  • Recruit top candidates for all positions with a focus on hiring talent that embodies the spirit and standards of our company.
  • Lead succession planning by training and developing store management team.
  • Manage compliance with all company policies and ensure that all procedures are being followed for required disciplinary action.
  • Act confidently and with integrity when addressing all human resource issues in a timely manner, partner with HR when necessary.
  • Lead by example in team building while having an empathic approach.
  • Exhibit enthusiasm and entrepreneurial spirit to create a positive work environment.
$120,000- $140,000 + Commission (on individual sales) + Monthly Sales Bonus . Total package potential ~200k
