The opportunity to join a leading business as a Data Architect who are on a mission to transform the way their clients utilise data & unlock its full potential. They are at an exciting point in their growth and delivering on some HUGE ground-breaking, cutting edge & innovative projects.
You will be working for a rapidly growing brand, working on Azure cloud architecture, whilst flying the flag for the data tribe brand-wide.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Azure cloud architecture from front to back, experience of transitioning from legacy platforms to cloud platforms, and a strong understanding of data infrastructures (data modelling, data management etc).

Highlights:
- Lead wide-scale, brand wise, enterprise level data architecture projects within an Azure infrastructure
- Operate as a subject matter expert within the brand for all things data architecture, translating technical requirements to non-technical stakeholders
- Identify areas of improvement for the data team (new technology that can be implemented, etc.) - offering a rare opportunity to shape the architecture yourself.
- Present ideas and solutions and how they fit into the business or the wider market to executive team members and the wider product and engineering organisation
- Develop specifications and detailed descriptions for product/engineering teams to turn prototypes into new or improved products.
- Strong programming ability with in-depth understanding of the languages
- Proven ability to lead, design and deliver significant software projects
- First Class knowledge of Databases and query languages (SQL)
- Deep understanding of Cloud Data Warehouses such as Redshift and Snowflake
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, D3.js and R)
- Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives and developers.
